In the Matter of Certain LED Lighting Devices, LED Power Supplies, and Components Thereof (Inv. No. 337-TA-1081).  Counsel for Respondents Wangs Alliance Corporation d/b/a WAC Lighting Co. and WAC Lighting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. in an ITC investigation initiated by Philips Lighting (now Signify) involving LED lighting devices and drivers. Achieved favorable resolution for WAC Lighting prior to conclusion of the investigation.

In the Matter of Certain 3G Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) Handsets and Components Thereof (Inv. No. 337-TA-601). Counsel for Respondent Samsung in Section 337 investigation (U.S. International Trade Commission) involving 3rd Generation cellular phone technology. Complaint filed by InterDigital Telecommunications Corp.

 

In the Matter of Certain Color TV Receivers and Color Display Monitors and Components Thereof (Inv. No. 337-TA-534). Counsel for Complainant Thomson Licensing Inc. in Section 337 investigation (U.S. International Trade Commission) involving five patents relating to liquid crystal device monitors and manufacturing technology. Respondents: AU Optronics and BenQ.

 

In the Matter of Certain Flash Memory Chips, Flash Memory Systems, and Products Containing Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-570). Counsel for Complainant Lexar Media, Inc. in Section 337 investigation (U.S. International Trade Commission) involving three patents relating to flash memory chips and technology. Respondents: Toshiba Corp. and Toshiba America, Inc.

 

In the Matter of Certain Disc Drives, Components Thereof, and Products Containing Same (Inv. No. 337-TA-516). Lead counsel for Respondent Cornice, Inc. in Section 337 investigation (U.S. International Trade Commission) involving seven patents relating to hard disk drive technology. Complainant: Seagate Technology LLC.

 

In the Matter of Certain Mobile Devices and Related Software (Inv. No. 337-TA-750). Counsel for respondent Motorola in at ITC investigation initiated by Apple over the software used in Motorola’s mobile devices. The investigation concluded with complete victory for Motorola.

 

In the Matter of Certain Digital Set-Top Boxes and Components Thereof (Inv. No. 337-TA-712). Counsel for respondent Cablevision and third-party Cisco in an ITC investigation initiated by Verizon involving technology controlling the operation of cable set-top boxes. The investigation concluded with complete victory for Cablevision and Cisco.
